Product Description

Intubation Stylet

An intubating stylet is a medical device used during the process of intubation in order to assist in the placement of an endotracheal tube into the trachea of a patient. It is a rigid, flexible or hybrid metal wire that has a curved or angled shape to facilitate the insertion of the tube into the airway. The stylet is inserted into the tracheal tube, giving it the necessary rigidity and shape required for successful insertion through the vocal cords and into the trachea. It helps to maintain the desired shape of the tube during intubation and allows for easier manipulation and steering of the tube into position.
